When Qiao Anhao mentioned the baby for the second time, Lu Jinnian still remained composed, staring at her standing elegantly on stage. He blinked again, then when the director spoke, he realized exactly what she had said. He gawked at her as though there was something wrong. He blinked over and over again, then turned his head in slight disbelief. With a calm expression on his face, he asked his a.s.sistant, "What did Qiao Qiao say just now?"
The expression on his a.s.sistant's face was full of shock, and he said in excitement, "Mr. Lu, Miss Qiao said she's pregnant."
